On May 14, 2021, on the basis of a joint initiative of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law, as well as the leadership of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Police Department of Nur-Sultan, on the basis of ENU.Gumileva L. N. with the participation of the teaching staff of the Department of UPD and graduate students, a round table was organized and held on the topic: "The three-tier model of criminal justice is a guarantee of ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens."

On the eve of the 25th anniversary of ENU and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department for Social and Civil Development held a traditional online competition "Best Curator-2021".
