IN THE WAKE OF FRUITFUL AND EFFECTIVE COOPERATION.

On May 14, 2021, on the basis of a joint initiative of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law, as well as the leadership of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Police Department of Nur-Sultan, on the basis of ENU.Gumileva L. N. with the participation of the teaching staff of the Department of UPD and graduate students, a round table was organized and held on the topic: "The three-tier model of criminal justice is a guarantee of ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens."
The speakers of this event were the head of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Colonel, Candidate of Law, Adilov S. A. and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Phd, Balgyntaev A. O. The moderator of the round table was the Deputy Head of the Police Department of Nur-Sultan, Police Colonel Sharibayev R. E. The Deputy Prosecutor of Nur-Sultan, Senior Adviser of Justice, Eldos Toktasynovich Kilymzhanov.  
The main report on the stated topic was made by the head of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Colonel Adilov S. A., in which the main directions of reforming the activities of the internal affairs bodies in connection with the introduction of modern approaches to the organization of solving the tasks of the criminal process within the three-tier model of criminal justice, conducted on behalf of the Head of State in current and future conditions, were highlighted in detail.  
Deputy Head of the Police Department of Nur-Sultan, Police Colonel Sharibayev, based on the analysis of factual material and the demonstration of interactive resources, highlighted the prospects for introducing modern technologies into law enforcement practice for further active use of the electronic format of criminal investigation and expanding the use of video recording of the progress and results of investigative actions, including as an alternative to traditional methods.
The head of the Department of criminal law disciplines, doctor in law, professor Sembekova B.R. addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech in response, in which the relevance and practical significance of the issues considered was noted and gratitude was expressed to fellow practitioners for their joint fruitful work within the framework of this representative event.
