Curatorial hour on the topic: KAZAKHSTAN IN A NEW REALITY: TIME FOR ACTION Message from the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan. September 1, 2020

On November 20, 2020, at the Faculty of Law, a curatorial hour was held on the topic: KAZAKHSTAN IN A NEW REALITY: TIME FOR ACTION, Message from the Head of State Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan. September 1, 2020 This curatorial hour was prepared by the associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Baimoldina Svetlana Malikovna with the participation of students of the curatorial group of the 2nd year, students of the Anti-Corruption Policy Club. It was noted at the meeting that in the new conditions of an international pandemic, emergency measures were taken to protect the population from a new type of virus, all resources were mobilized to protect the life and health of Kazakhstanis, at a critical hour the people of Kazakhstan rallied into a single whole. Sincere gratitude was noted to doctors, law enforcement officers, military personnel, volunteers, entrepreneurs and all concerned, conscientious citizens for steadfastness and responsibility, who showed a vivid example of steadfastness and responsibility, a manifestation of genuine patriotism. Two packages of operational anti-crisis measures were adopted. More than 4.5 million Kazakhstanis who temporarily lost their income received assistance in the amount of 42,500 tenge. More than 450 billion tenge were allocated for these purposes. In neighboring states and even in some developed countries, this kind of assistance was not provided. Over a million people received food and household kits. On the initiative of Elbasy, Chairman of the Nur Otan party, more than 550 thousand families were covered by the one-time financial support of the Birgemiz Fund. Also, in the process of conducting the curatorial hour, the main priority directions of development of Kazakhstan were considered, and special attention was paid to the following issues: 1. A NEW MODEL OF GOVERNMENT 2. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN NEW REALITIES 3. BALANCED TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT 4. SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF CITIZENS - TOP PRIORITY 5. AFFORDABLE AND QUALITY EDUCATION 6. DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM 7. ECOLOGY AND PROTECTION OF BIODIVERSITY 8. A FAIR STATE ON PROTECTION OF THE INTERESTS OF CITIZENS 9. DIGITALIZATION IS A BASIC ELEMENT OF ALL REFORMS 10. CIVIL PARTICIPATION IN GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE 11. NEW QUALITY OF THE NATION. All of these priority areas require detailed study and comprehensive preparation, the implementation of which lies not only on the shoulders of our generation and modern youth. The meeting of the curatorial hour was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Ibragimov Zh.I., Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Master of Law, PhD candidate, Karibaeva A.K., Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Ph.D. ., professor Sembekova B.R, 2nd year students of the curatorial group, 2nd year head student M. Mashrapova, students of the Anti-Corruption Policy Club, who discussed in detail all the priority areas of this message. Also, the participants noted the importance of modern youth, students of the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov in the implementation of the tasks.
