On the eve of the 25th anniversary of ENU and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department for Social and Civil Development held a traditional online competition "Best Curator-2021". The competition was held in 3 stages:
* Stage I – the faculty has determined the candidate of the curator, who has achieved high results this year.
* Stage II-in the period from 13 to 30 April, an open curatorial hour was held on the topic: "Tauelsizdik-tugyrym!", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* Stage III-preparation of a video for the 25th anniversary of ENU with the participation of an academic group. The best videos were posted on the university's social networks.
The competition was attended by 12 faculties, with the exception of the Faculty of Transport and Energy.
Curatorial hours were evaluated according to the following criteria: the content of the curatorial hour, originality and creativity, methods of organization and conduct, the degree of student participation, as well as pedagogical skills.
The competition was evaluated by a competent jury. The commission included the directors of the department Alkozha R. A., the chairman of the primary trade union organization Aralkhanov M. S., the head of the project office "Adep" Nugymanov E. E., the director of the directorate of Student houses Shamenov M. E., the acting head of the department with foreign students Paratkhan B., the head of the scientific and methodological department of the Scientific Library Daribayeva G. G., the head of the production practice of the department of career and business partnership Kilibayeva U. K.
On May 14, 2021, the participants of the traditional online contest "Best Curator-2021"were awarded. The event was attended by the Vice-rector for Social and Cultural Development Dihan Kamzabekuly, members of the commission and teachers. All curators were presented with letters of thanks from the Rector of the University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. B. Sydykov and image products.
The best curator of the Faculty of Law was recognized as Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Baymoldina Svetlana Malikovna, who is the curator of several curatorial groups of the 1st and 2nd year.
Taking into account that 12 of the 19 participants are members of the trade union organization of the university, at the suggestion of the Deputy chairman of the commission, Chairman of the trade union organization of ENU Maksat Aralkhanov, two teachers were awarded a material remuneration in the amount of 50,000 tenge. These are the senior lecturer of the Department of" Fundamental Mathematics "– Danagul Karataeva Serkhilovna (MMF) and the senior lecturer of the Department of" Tourism " – Tleubaeva Aitolkyn Tleubaevna (EF).
According to the results of the competition, the teacher of the Department of Translation Studies of the Faculty of Philology, Aidana Beibitova, was recognized as the best curator of 2021.
The winner was awarded a diploma, gifts and a cash prize from the university.
