INFORMATION ABOUT EDUCATIONAL WORK
Educational work is one of the components of the overall learning process. During educational hours in academic groups, issues are considered that are directly related to the public life of students: internal regulations, significant events in the life of the country, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, analysis of the progress of classes, preparation of festive events in accordance with the plans of educational work of the university and group work.
Annually, plans are drawn up for educational work in the department, in supervised groups. Advisors report at the meetings of the department on the work performed. Students participate in various cultural and sports events held at the university and beyond. Visits to theaters, museums are organized, all students have free Internet access.

Organizational and methodological work.
Curated by D.M. Kamatova work with students of the 1st course was carried out from September 1, starting from the orientation week. A connection was immediately established with all students, the heads of the groups of the Kazakh and Russian branches were selected.
On September 8, 2020, an online meeting of the curator with the students took place, within the framework of which:
• Discussed current issues related to the educational process in a distance format (clarification of the structure of the university and the faculty, the functions of certain services and departments, familiarity with the website of the university and faculty, a virtual department);
• Instructions were given on working with Microsoft Teams, AIS Platonus, corporate mail;
• Plans for the current and next year were discussed, an acquaintance with the Department of International Law and the content of the educational program "International Law" was held.
Civil-patriotic education.
On September 8, 2020, an online meeting of the curator with the students took place, within the framework of which the curator Kamatova D.M. spoke about the Annual Message of the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action."
On September 8, 2020, a curatorial hour was held with 2nd year students on the topic "Message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan 2020: economic development in new realities."
Work was carried out with 4-year students at the Department of International Law in order to promote universal human values in the youth environment, familiarize themselves with spiritual and moral values and traditions. The curator of the MP-42 group Murzagaliev E.Ch held a round table on the topic: "Discussion of the documentary film" Seven Facets of Independence ", with 42 students. 4-year students took part in the international debate tournament "Nomad's Sky" held by Nazarbayev University - June 13-14, 2020. The tournament was held at the Nazarbayev University.
4th year students were among the moderators of the debates in PRIMARIES 2020, September 21-25. Every day there were 3 rounds. There were 10 people in each round. Issues related to the social and economic status of citizens were discussed.
Formation of legal culture
On September 30, 2020, 2nd year students took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Global Challenges and Threats to International Security" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Zh.O. Kulzhabaeva,
On October 28, 2020, a curatorial hour was held on the topic: “75 years of the UN: the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the activities of the organization”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. At the curatorial hour, the topical problems that arose in connection with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent quarantine in most countries of the world were discussed - problems of ensuring law and order, messages between states in current conditions, issues of movement of persons and foreign citizens to the country of citizenship, and others.

Formation of tolerance and interethnic harmony
On September 15, 2020, a curatorial hour was held with 2nd year students on the topic: "Features of the prevention and fight against manifestations of extremism and terrorism in the youth environment", dedicated to countering the destructive influence of radical views and beliefs on the part of extremist and terrorist organizations.
On November 11, 2020, curator Asem Askarovna Oynarova held a curatorial hour on the topic "Countering the ideology of extremism and terrorism among the youth."
Students contribute to the development of spiritual and moral culture. Participate in activities related to the settlement of conflicts, in particular internal and inter-ethnic. Thus, a student of the MPK41 group Taukebai Olzhas conducted an interview with the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Apparatus Maksim Aleksandrovich Spotkay, on July 5, 2020. The interview was held in the state language. Issues of ethnic conflicts in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the role of the Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan in regulating interethnic issues were discussed.
Physical culture and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
In accordance with the order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 28, 2020 and a set of physical exercises for 2020-2021 approved by the chairman of the board - rector of the University “Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov ”, with second-year students, work is underway to promote a healthy lifestyle and maintain physical health. The recommended complexes of physical exercises are performed by students and the curator every other day in accordance with the instructions attached to the above Complex.
Development of intellectual culture, aesthetic education.
A separate work was carried out with the students to discuss the importance and necessity of knowledge of the English language. Curator Kamatova D.M. talked about the advantages of knowing English for a future specialist in international law; talked about the opportunities open to students who speak English; discussed the need to develop.
On April 10, 2020, 2nd year students took part in the student scientific and practical conference on topical issues of modern international public and private international law, organized by the Department of International Law within the framework of the XV International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM - 2020".
On October 17, 2020, 2nd year students took part in a conference dedicated to the presentation of a new book by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Orazak Ismagulovich Ismagulov.
The work of the research club "International lawyer's club" is being carried out. Turmakhan Anel from the 1st year was the President of this club, due to the graduation course she transferred her powers. Students take an active part in various Olympiads, debates and competitions. In particular, student Taukebai Olzhas is a participant in the Internet Olympiad "Electoral Systems of the World" held by the Central Election Commission - August 2020.
