Employment of graduates of the specialty "Jurisprudence"

The organization of professional practice by department of criminal law disciplines is carried out on the basis and according to the State educational standard of  the specialty "Jurisprudence", working programs of professional practice, plans of work of department and individual plans of work of the faculty, for the following main directions:

- Formation of educational and methodological support for the passage of the prescribed practices by the State Obligatory Standard of Education;

- Drawing up and processing of work programs for the passage of all types of professional practice;

- Implementation of new forms of professional interaction with practice bases into the educational process;

- Ensuring professional interaction with responsible people and managers on the practice bases;

- Development of a set of guidelines for receiving reports and the execution of midterm  tasks of the department on the results of all types of professional practice. 

The department of criminal law disciplines has existing contracts for the passage of all types of professional practice with the relevant state agencies and their structural divisions.

All bachelors, master and doctoral students pass compulsory technical safety briefing in the departments, just before passing the relevant type of practice.

The department of criminal disciplines conducts consistent work on expansion and deepening of professional cooperation with the relevant practice bases. In particular, there is Memorandum of Cooperation between L.N. Gumilov Eurasian National University and the Ministry of Internal Affairs assuming traditional forms of cooperation within the organization and carrying out professional practice of students and opening branch of department of Criminal disciplines on the basis of Investigative and Operational criminalistic departments as leading structural divisions of the ministry.. This type of cooperation implies close cooperation of scientific and theoretical activities in the framework of the educational process and practical jurisprudence in the main areas of work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, its structural and territorial divisions. On the fourth of April, 2019 with direct participation of the teaching stuff of department of criminal disciplines the Memorandum of cooperation between L.N. Gumilov Eurasian National University and Institute of judicial examinations of the city Nur-Sultan is concluded.

Practice on department of Criminal disciplines takes place on the basis of the leading public law enforcement and other law-enforcement authorities, according to the available contracts and agreements and also on the basis of trilateral contracts. 

Professional practice is provided in accordance with the requirements of the State Obligatory Standard of Education, as well as in accordance with the terms of the existing contracts, taking into account the peculiarities of the activity of the practice bases, which are brought to legal, logical and organizational compliance. There were no complaints from the heads of the practice bases as well as those responsible to the internship of bachelors, master and doctoral students of the law faculty.

The department of criminal disciplines develops and implements relevant plans for organization of all types of professional practice and specific forms of participation of managers and leading employees, law enforcement and other law enforcement agencies in organization of the considered type of training and practical work as well as meetings with students and teaching staff in order to integrate educational and law enforcement activities.

In order to improve the quality of the organization and conduct of professional practice taking into account modern requirements for educational and methodological activities of higher education organizations, the development of pedagogical technologies of dual education, the department of criminal disciplines conducts consistent work to improve the legal and organizational aspects to further develop the process of passing professional practice.

The accumulated experience of the organization and passing by students of all types of professional practice and also, work with bases of practice by their heads and responsible employees is implemented at the high scientific, educational and organizational and methodical level.

  A fundamentally important element in the implementation of the educational process, in accordance with the requirements of state educational standards, is the organization and conduct of relevant educational practices.

The organization of all types of professional practice in the department of criminal law disciplines is organized and conducted on the basis of and in accordance with the State Educational Standard, the standard curriculum for the specialty "Jurisprudence", the corresponding educational program, the work plan of the law faculty, the Department of criminal disciplines and individual plans of teaching stuff of the department of  criminal law disciplines, in the following main areas:

- Formation of educational and methodological support for the passage of the prescribed practices by the State Obligatory Standard of Education;

- processing of working programs for the passage of all types of professional practice;

- Implementation of new forms of professional interaction with practice bases into the educational process;

- ensuring professional interaction with responsible people and managers on the practice bases;

- Development of a set of methodical recommendations for the receipt of reports and the execution of intermediate tasks of the department based on the results of the passage of all types of professional practice.

The Department of Criminal Law Disciplines has developed working programs, methodological recommendations of all types of practice, approved in 2018-2019. All bachelors, master and doctoral students pass compulsory technical safety briefing in the departments, just before passing the relevant type of practice.

The Department of Criminal Law Disciplines has developed a plan for organization the passage of all types of professional practice and specific forms of participation of leaders and leading employees, law enforcement and other law enforcement bodies in organizing the type of teaching and practical work in question, as well as meetings with students and faculty for the integration of educational and law enforcement activities.

In general, the organization and the passage of students of all types of professional practice in the Department, as well as work with the practice bases, are carried out in accordance with the organizational and methodological requirements. All the necessary preparatory and final events, orientation conferences, instructing trainees, control over the internship, acceptance of reports, are held on time, at the appropriate educational and methodical level.

According to the results of the internship, the heads of the practitioner databases note the excellent training of students, the high level of theoretical knowledge and professional competencies required by the specialist.

 

Employment prospects for students.

Within the framework of established cooperation with practical bodies, and employees implementing professional competencies in the legal field, April 07, 2023. a thematic meeting was organized for students in the educational program 6B04204 "Forensic and prosecutorial and investigative and forensic activities" and the faculty of the Department of Criminal Procedure with a member of the Chamber of Legal Advisers in Astana, Autalipova Z.T.

Within the framework of this event, the main issues of legal regulation of the participation of legal consultants in the provision of services for the provision of legal assistance to citizens and legal entities in civil and administrative cases were considered. 

Autalipova Z.T. the main aspects of the activities of legal consultants were disclosed in the light of the implementation of the provisions of the current legislation on advocacy and legal assistance. Special attention was paid to the organizational foundations of this work, as well as the prospects for further employment of students of EP 6B04204 "Judicial-Prosecuting and Investigative-Forensic Activities" as legal consultants. The meeting was held in an interesting way, in a creative atmosphere and aroused active interest on the part of students and teaching staff of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines.
