The material and technical, and social base of the university is being modernized by updates of the the computer park, laboratory equipment, training and office furniture, sports equipment, purchases of multimedia and printing equipment, conduct of fiber-optic networks, restoration of facades of buildings, current and major repairs in educational buildings and student homes.
In the educational building No. 1 (EAB), where students learn the educational program «Jurisprudence», there have been created conditions for teaching students with disabilities and disabled people (there are a ramp at the entrance, and a functioning elevator with access to all floors of the educational building).
Within the framework of the Student's social support program, the medical center, a student cinema (in student's house No. 5), sports sections (football, volleyball) operate.
The Department on an annual base updates the Material and Technical Resources: computers, printers, copiers, multifunctional devices, scanners, laptops; equipping audiences with technical manuals (projectors, interactive and multimedia boards, screens for projectors).
There are a total of 11 computers, 6 printers, 2 scanners and a multifunction device 3 in 1 at the department. All of the above is directly at the department.
The department has several name rooms. In honor of the 90th anniversary of the famous academic lawyer Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Salyk Zimanov opened of the nominal audience (215). On February 19, 2021, in honor of the 100th anniversary of S. Zimanov, Office 215 was updated and presented.
In 2017 on the basis of ENU. L.N. Gumilyov opened the Belarusian National Center for Reference Legal Information. In this regard, 215 office was equipped with 3 computers. Detailed information on the website: https://qazby.enu.kz/
Also in 2014, the office of Murat Baymakhanov (317). The classrooms are equipped with a conference table, stands about the life and scientific activities of academicians, and there is also a library from their author's works, donated by them to the faculty.
Students of the department have the opportunity to use the electronic library of the Scientific Library "Full-text electronic resources" at http://library.enu.kz. Students can use the Republican inter-university electronic library http://www.rmeb.kz. All educational materials of the department in electronic form are posted on the library portal, each student can access it through a personal account (AIS Platonus www.edu.enu.kz ).
Students of the educational program « Jurisprudence » use the services of the American Corner Astana information center, opened in September 2015 within the partnership with the US Embassy in Kazakhstan. The Center provides access to printed and electronic collections, cultural and educational programs and promotes the development of multilingual education. Students and teachers have access to the English-language multidisciplinary informational database of American spaces eLibrary USA. About 30 resources are collected in this electronic resource. Especially popular are AcademicOneFile, GREENR, JSOR, ProQuest, ebrary, which offer scientific articles, books and sites in different branches of science (anthropology, business and economics, computer technology and IT, education, engineering and technology, history, languages, linguistics, law, psychology, religion, social sciences, physics, biology and biotechnology). Also in the eLibrary are collected materials for students and teachers, who study or teach subjects of the educational program «Jurisprudence» in English, resources on the methodology of teaching disciplines of the educational program « Jurisprudence », prepared plans and projects (https://www.facebook.com/AstanaAmericanCorner/).
