From April 3 to April 10, 2023, the Department of International Law holds the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical School on International Law "Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the specialized Department of International Law of ENU. In 2023, the main topic of the X International Scientific and Practical School is "Alternative ways to resolve international disputes."
On April 7, 2023, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of International Law, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), Saidmukhtorov Alisherjon Abdukhalikovich, spoke.
In his guest lecture on the topic "Prospects for the establishment of the BRICS Arbitration Center" Saidmukhtorov A.A. made a survey on peaceful means of resolving international disputes, spoke about the BRICS interstate association, the reasons for the creation, goals and objectives of the BRICS Arbitration Center, as well as potential problems and challenges in the event of the implementation of this project.
Speech by Saidmukhtorov A.A. aroused keen interest on the part of the teaching staff and grew into a lively discussion.
