Head of the Department of International Law Sh.V. Tlepina took part in the Fifth Eurasian Forum on Quality Assurance in Education

On September 29-30, Head of the Department of International Law Sh.V. Tlepina, at the invitation of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), took part in the Fifth Eurasian Forum on Quality Assurance in Education "Sustainable Development and the Future of Higher Education" (Astana, Kazakhstan).

Within the framework of the Forum, three sessions were held: Values and new approaches to ensuring the quality of higher education (including improving the education system through teacher-teacher training); Digitalization to improve learning and management efficiency; Expanding access and lifelong learning.

The Forum was opened and delivered a welcoming speech by Kulekeyev Zhaksybek Abdrakhmetovich, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IQAA, Professor, Candidate of Economics.

In the report of the Director of Higher Education Policy and Regulation of the Department of Education and Knowledge of Abu Dhabi (UAE), Board member of INQAAHE (International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education), ex-President of INQAAHE, PhD “Re-Engineering QA to Buttress Core Values of HE” (Redesigning Quality assurance to support Susanna Karakhanyan paid much attention to the need to show respect for the basic values of education throughout the world.

In the speech "International accreditation is a key factor in improving the quality of education on the example of the Technical Institute of Edzhu (Tashkent)" Zhanpolat Shamuratovich Kudaibergenov, Rector of the Technical Institute of Edzhu (Uzbekistan), PhD examined the issues of accreditation in Uzbekistan.

S.G. Pen, Provost (Rector) KazGUU named after M. Narikbayev, Associate Professor, Candidate of Law in the report "Implementation of values in academic policy, quality control and training formats" spoke about values in the educational process – understanding, principles, education policy, methods. He dwelt in detail on each of the elements that make up the success of the collective work of the university; on the importance of following the rules of university work not only by students. Pen noted that the requirement for students implies a requirement for each of the members of the scientific and pedagogical community.

In the speech "University science and its innovative potential" by Yerkeblan Muratovich Tazhbayev, Vice-Rector of Karaganda State University. Academician E.A. Buketov, Professor, Doctor of Economics, member of the IQAA Accreditation Council, attention was drawn to the need for funding of science from the state, government agencies, various foundations and the business community. According to him, this is how science funding is built in foreign countries and, in particular, the United States.

In the speech "A new teacher: a breakthrough from the circle of regression?" by speaker Serik Aztayevich Irsaliev, President of Astana International University, Associate Professor, PhD, the refrain was the unity of the quality of education at the university with the quality of professional training of the teaching staff.

In the report "Universities in the Digital World" by Yerlan Shulanov, Rector of the North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev, attention was drawn to the UN reports on Education, the Fourth Goal of the SDGs. At the end of his speech, E.N. Shulanov wished everyone stability, to develop the stability of society and the scientific and pedagogical community. It is gratifying to note that Yerlan Nurlybekovich is a graduate of the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilev ENU.

Interesting was the speech of Iskakov Rinat Maratovich "Digital workplace of a student to solve individual learning needs", Professor of Satbayev University, associate Professor, Doctor of Economics Rinat Maratovich spoke about the need for constant filling and maintaining the appropriate database, generating various university reports in Microsoft.

The presentation of the report "Lifelong learning: Universities in a changing labor market and new technologies" by Speaker Miras Mukhtarovich Daulenov, President of Narkhoz University, Chairman of the Board, PhD, was fascinating. Miras Mukhtarovich spoke about the concept of continuing education; respect for the values of education and the value of the work of the teaching staff; about basic skills. He referred to them – financial, legal, digital, medical; soft competencies, etc.

The Forum was held at a high level, the results of the Forum were summed up by Sholpan Murtazovna Kalanova, President of IQAA, Professor, PhD, PhD.
