On April 10, 2023, meeting of the student scientific circle on the topic: “Causes of violence in the family and its consequences” was held with the participation of second-year students of the educational program 6B04204 - "Judicial-prosecutorial and investigative-criminalistic activity" of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines.
The meeting of the circle was held by Ph.D., associate professor Muratkhanova M. with the participation of senior lecturer, PhD doctor Kalmaganbetova D.B. At the meeting of the circle the main results of scientific analysis of the causes of domestic violence and its consequences were considered, amendments and additions proposed by 3rd year students to the current Criminal and Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the current the actual problem and the growth of offenses in the field of domestic violence and its consequences for all participants in family legal relations.
The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of the state of problems of domestic violence, statistical data and specific examples of committed acts of the topic of the meeting. Ways of improvement were considered in accordance with modern trends in the development of state legal policy in the field of countering family and domestic conflicts in order to prevent this type of offenses.
The discussion of the issues under consideration was held at a high level in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. The students showed a keen interest in the consideration of many topical issues, showed activity and active participation in the work of the scientific circle.
