Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Candidate of Legal Sciences Muratkhanova M.B. held a scientific circle with students of the 3rd year of the educational program "Judicial-prosecutorial and investigative-criminalistic activity" on the topic "Actual problems of terrorist and extremist crime". On the presented topic, the students studied ways to effectively combat terrorism and extremism, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the causes of religious extremism, reviewed foreign and Kazakh experience in combating terrorism and extremism.
To study the influence of radical groups on society, students comprehensively examined the legal, psychological, religious, social and criminological aspects of terrorism.
The scientific circle was attended by the head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Candidate of Law, Professor Sembekova B.R., listened to the students' positions on the problem under discussion and shared her point of view on countering this type of crime.
Sultan Syrym and Akyltay Sherkhan actively participated in the discussion of the topic of the scientific circle, who conducted in-depth research on this topic and prepared a report.
