Master's students of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the 2nd year of the Faculty of Law named after L.N. Gumilyova Educational Program "Judicial Power and Criminal Justice" Absadyk Әsel, Mukataeva Almira and Sakenov Sagidollah took 3rd place at the Second International Competition of Student Initiatives "Student Shield 2022"
The competition was held by the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Anti-Terrorist Center of the CIS member states in the field of countering the ideology of terrorism. The competition was attended by students of 29 universities of Russia and the CIS member states.
The purpose of the competition is to support the best author's initiatives of students, undergraduates of higher educational institutions of the CIS member states, aimed at countering the ideology of terrorism.
In total, 150 works were presented, 190 participants in the following nominations:
I. Best informational visual material on the prevention of extremism and terrorism (poster, brochure, leaflet, motivators/demotivators, preparation of positive content).
II. The best literary work on the prevention of terrorism (essay, poem, literary work, essay, article).
III. The best video on the prevention of extremism and terrorism.
IV. The best event for the prevention of terrorism (scenario of a mass event, theatrical performance, actions, educational and methodological development, lecture).
Master's students of the Educational Program "Judicial Power and Criminal Justice" Absadyk Әsel, Mukataeva Almira and Sakenov Sagidolla presented the work in the nomination "The best video on the prevention of extremism and terrorism." The theme of the video: "Special operations to combat extremism and terrorism: Operation Zhusan." (Head, Ph.D., Professor Sembekova B.R.)
The international jury and the Organizing Committee of the Competition highly appreciated the work of undergraduates and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the university for the participation of undergraduates of the Law Faculty of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyova.
