On December 7 2022, the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines organized a meeting of students educational program "Judicial-Prosecutorial and Investigative-criminalistic activities" of the Faculty of Law, also the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the L.N. Gumilev ENU with representatives of the Ministry of Information and Public Development and the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of Astana.
The event was organized in connection with the completion of course "Anti-Corruption Culture", conducted by docent of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, candidate of law science Nurmagambetova S.B., as a result of which students had the opportunity to meet with practitioners, get acquainted directly with the problems of combating corruption.
The officer of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of Astana Mamyt A. Zh. made a presentation on the issues of the activities of the Service, conducted statistical data, touched upon the issues of the Anti-Corruption policy of their service, demonstrating the effectiveness of solving state tasks to combat corruption in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was held at a high level, in the form of discussions between students, representative of Department of Anti-Corruption Service and the head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Ph.D., Professor Sembekova B.R., senior teachers of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Drokin Yu.N., doctor PhD Kalmagambetova D.B. docent, candidate of law science Baymoldina S.M.
