At the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov On May 5, 2022, a meeting was held between students of the Department of International Law, among whom were foreign students who came from Tajikistan, with Doctor of Political Sciences Natalia Pavlovna Kalashnikova, Head of the Department of the "Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan" of the Eurasian National University, Chairman of the Association of Departments "Shanyrak". The guest shared rich material on the activities of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan in the socio-political and cultural life of the Republic, on the positive experience of the institute in strengthening interethnic harmony among ethnic groups in the country. Illustrative materials were also shown, summarizing the unique experience of the Assembly, illustrating the work and achievements of the Kazakhstani model. The guest touched upon the topic of how the constitutional reforms will affect the work of the Assembly, and what are the further prospects for the development of this institution in the light of new changes to the Constitution of Kazakhstan. Dr. N.P. Kalashnikova submitted the idea of developing a new master's direction "Ethno-Political Science" in science.
