Meeting of Rector of L.N. Gumilyov E.B. Sydykov and Vice-Minister of Justice B.S. Moldabekov

On January 24, 2023, at 4 p.m., the Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Academician E.B. Sydykov, met with the Vice Minister of Justice B. S. Moldabekov on the development of cooperation in the field of improving forensic expertise.  The meeting was attended by the deputy. Director of the Department of Organization of Expert Activity Zhumanbayeva B.A., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Economics, Professor Makysh S.B., Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Smatlaev B.M., Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Candidate of Law, Professor Sembekova B.R., Head of the Expert Center Faculty of Law Saliyenko V.V. 

Rector of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Academician E.B. Sydykov made a welcoming speech, where he stressed the importance of the meeting for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between L.N. Gumilyov ENU and the Ministry of Justice, aimed at improving the educational process in the field of forensic expertise. In his speech, he outlined the key areas of cooperation concerning the educational process and scientific activities.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the Vice-Minister of Justice B. S. Moldabekov, who expressed his willingness to cooperate on improving forensic expertise.  

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: training of undergraduates in the educational program "Forensic examination", joint development of the educational program "Forensic examination" aimed at the development of this program; advanced training of forensic experts-practitioners on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov ENU; employment of graduates of the educational program "Forensic examination; conducting academic classes on the basis of the branch of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines "Research Institute of the Center for Forensic Examinations"; development of scientific and methodological manuals, textbooks, visual aids for students of the educational program "Forensic examination", scientific and practical conferences; 

- attracting expert practitioners to conduct academic classes; opening a training ground on the basis of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law; conducting joint organizational, career-oriented activities to recruit applicants for the educational program "Forensic Examination" at the magistracy level 

The meeting was held at a high level.
