On June 15, 2021 at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, dissertation research was defended within the framework of the CIS Network University program by master students Akhmetova Assem, Kaliyeva Aruzhan and Temirova Aida on the topics of dissertation research "The concept of a fair regime and security of foreign investments in international law", " International legal regulation of the fight against cybercrime" and " The problem of protecting journalists during armed conflicts", respectively.

With the support of the Department of International Law of L.N. Gumilyov, undergraduates had the opportunity to study under the program of the CIS Network University. The main goal of the program is to improve the quality of higher education, strengthen cooperation and interuniversity relations in the field of higher education in the territory of the CIS member states. The project is aimed at organizing and implementing high-quality joint master's programs and strengthening international cooperation in the field of training highly qualified specialists.
