Within the Decade of Science, Solntsev A.M., Deputy Head of the Department of International Law of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, delivered a guest lecture.

On April 7, 2022, a guest lecture was held at the Department of International Law by a candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, deputy head of the department of international law of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, Russia), a member of the Russian Association of International Law, a member of the European Association of International Law, a member of the European Center for Space law, a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature World Commission on Environmental Law, a member of the European Forum of Environmental Law, Solntsev Alexander Mikhailovich on the topic: "Environmental human rights: international legal dimension". The moderator was PhD PhD, Senior Lecturer, Acting Head of the Department of International Law, Roza Dzharasovna Akshalova.

 The guest lecture was held online on the Microsoft Teams platform. The students of the school were students of bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies in the specialty "International Law", the faculty of the Department of International Law of L.N. Gumilyov ENU.

In his guest lecture Solntsev A.M. presented his published textbook "Environmental Human Rights" in the supplemented and modified 3rd edition, and also spoke about the concept of environmental rights, their history and classification, the protection of environmental rights at the universal level within the UN. More details Solntsev A.M. focused on regional mechanisms for the protection of environmental rights in the European Union, the Council of Europe, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Organization of American States and the African Union.
