February 19, 2021 L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held a republican scientific and practical conference "Salyk Zimanov - citizen, scientist, statesman and public figure." The conference was held within the framework of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Academician, Doctor of Law, Professor Salyk Zimanov.
The event was also held under the auspices of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Speaking with a welcoming speech, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov emphasized that the personality of Salyk Zimanov for the legal community of Kazakhstan is known primarily as a prominent scientist, researcher and mentor.
“He penned the largest studies in the field of the social and political system of the Kazakhs, the history of the formation of the national statehood of Kazakhstan. Salyk Zimanov's contribution to the formation of the legal system of independent Kazakhstan is enormous. Salyk Zimanovich Zimanov is a man of an entire era. He devoted himself to the common cause, his country, honestly and selflessly served his people, and today he is a model of imitation for the new generation, "Yeraly Tugzhanov noted.
Rector of the Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov noted that Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law Salyk Zimanov is a person who has made an immeasurable contribution to the formation of our country as a rule of law and the formation of the sacred independence of Kazakhstan.
"The main goal of the republican scientific and practical conference" Salyk Zimanov: citizen, scientist, statesman and public figure "is to promote the creativity and life of a great teacher, full of diversity, adversity and joy for the upbringing of the young generation", - said the rector of ENU.

Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the named audience of Salyk Zimanov at the Faculty of Law of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov. In addition, an exhibition of scientific works and photographs of the biography of academician Salyk Zimanov was organized.
