V International Youth Legal Forum "Human Rights and Transnational Security Threats"

KazGUU named after M. Narikbaev hosted the V International Youth Legal Forum “Human Rights and Transnational Security Threats” with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Nur Sultan, from 20th till 22 November 2019.

Students from Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, as well as 4-year students of the Law Faculty of Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov: speciality “5В030200 - International Law” - Adilzhan Bayburinov, Myrzabek Amina, Saukombekova Sayagul, Tolybaeva Akmaral, specialties “5В030100 - Law” - Zeynelgaby Adil participated in the forum.

On the opening day of the forum, Diana Digol, Deputy Head of the OSCE Program Office at Nur-Sultan, and Miras Daulenov, Provost of KAZGUU University, delivered welcoming speeches. Then a discussion was held with specialists, experts in the field of human rights protection. 

 

On the second day, our students made presentations in 4 sections:

In section 1 “Human rights and human trafficking” – Tolybayeva A., Saukombekova S.;

In section 2 “Environmental Rights” - Baiburinov A., Zeynelgaby A.;

In section 3 “Cyber security”;

In section 4 “Terrorism and other transnational threats to national security” -Myrzabek A.

On the final day of the Forum, 8 students who won at the 1st round of the competition fought in the final.

Students of the Law Faculty of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University were ceremonially awarded with certificates for active participation in the V International Youth Legal Forum.
