From April 3 to April 10, 2023, the Department of International Law holds the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical School on International Law "Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the specialized Department of International Law of ENU. In 2023, the main topic of the X International Scientific and Practical School is "Alternative ways to resolve international disputes."
On April 10, 2023, the judge of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, candidate of legal sciences, Seitimova Venera Khamitovna, spoke on the topic: “The Court of the EAEU: Law enforcement practice and its features”.
In his speech, Judge Seytimova The.Kh. outlined the role of integration associations in modern conditions, considered the structure of the Eurasian Economic Union, the commodity nomenclature of the foreign economic activity of the EAEU, the implementation of an agreed, unified and coordinated policy in the EAEU. Lecturer Seitimova V.Kh. dwelled in detail on the legal nature, the competence of the EAEU Court, contesting complaints of actions / inactions of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the evidence base in the EAEU Court, the problems of the activities of the EAEU Court. Many examples were given from the judicial practice of the EAEU court.
Seitimova V.Kh. aroused keen interest on the part of the teaching staff and grew into a lively discussion. At the end of the lecture Akshalova R.D. expressed her gratitude to the lecturer for a very interesting and informative lecture, and also wished her good health and professional success.
