On September 8, 2023, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a workshop on the topic within the framework of the international conference "Constitutional Justice: dignity, Freedom and justice for all": "Constitutional law in the 21st century: the rule of law and the protection of human rights on the way to the rule of law and security", which was attended by members of delegations, representatives of state bodies and organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students from various educational institutions.
Together with the lecturer of the Department of International Law, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Work with Students Karazan B.S., the workshop was attended by students of the Faculty of Law of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, namely students: Meirambek Azhar, Urazbaeva Ayymkul, Orynbayeva Anel Baktiyar Adela, Hamidullina Amanat, Anurbek Aziza, Zhumadulla Karakat and undergraduates: Kanapya Mohammed, Bakhyt Inkar.
The event was held in the AIFC building in the format of a concept presentation and discussion. The conference was attended by: George Papuashvili– an expert of the Venice Commission, Dean of the ILIA State University Law School, ex-Minister of Justice of Georgia, Baselar Guveia Jorge, Professor of Law and President of the Institute of Law of Portulag–speaking Countries, Matthias Knauff, Professor at Friedrich Schiller University (Germany), Oruch Gedze, Director of the International Institute for the Improvement of Justice (Turkey).
The event touched upon the main problems in the field of human rights protection by constitutional courts in the context of globalization of the XXI century. In addition, the conference became a platform for the exchange of professional international experience for all legal professionals.
Participation in such meetings of students of higher educational institutions allows to increase the overall effectiveness of educational activities. The participants of the conference, including students of the Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, were satisfied with the level of organization of this event.
