Students of the department of International law are volunteers of the State Commission

4th year students of the specialty "International law" Diana Almagambetova, Marat Niyazov, Eldos Tauteev as volunteers under the guidance of Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Law E.M. Abaydeldinov took part in the work of the Project Office of the State Commission for the Complete Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression.

The State Commission for the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression (hereinafter referred to as the State Commission) was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 24, 2020 and operates under the leadership of the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.E.Kusherbayev. The State Commission is an advisory body under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The State Commission consists of heads of state bodies, members of Parliament, representatives of public organizations, scientists.

The volunteers got acquainted with the work of the Project Office of the State Commission; worked on the systematization of Soviet-era documents previously inaccessible to researchers related to mass political repression, from which the "top secret" label was recently removed; took part in the preparation for publication of the first collection of declassified materials.

The scale and nobility of the goals of the State Commission, the uniqueness of the materials provided for the study, documenting the tragic and at the same time heroic pages of the history of our people (scientists have identified at least 372 uprisings against the totalitarian regime that took place in Soviet times on the territory of our country), made a deep impression on young researchers and strengthened the desire after the session to continue volunteering in the State Commission.
