On November 3, 2022, students of the B. Momyshuly Lyceum School No. 53 and a number of other educational institutions have visited the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University at an Open Day of the Faculty of Law, which was held in the atrium "Kultegin" of the Main Building. For many of them, this is the first acquaintance with a national-level higher education institution.
Educational programs of the department at the bachelor's degree level were presented by B.S. Karazhan, a responsible person for career guidance work at the department. He spoke in detail about the predominant qualities of the Department of International Law and the profession of an international lawyer. The students were happy to learn about new horizons of professional development opportunities.
The students together with the teacher of the department B.S. Karazhan visited the Museum of the History of Writing, where the head of the museum T.A. Kozhamkul told the children about the history of the development of writing among the Turkic peoples. Then the guests visited the courtroom. From there, they were escorted by senior lecturer B.B. Seidesh to the Department of International Law, where they met with the head of the Department of International Law Sh.V. Tlepina. She told about the activities of one of the exemplary divisions of the Faculty of Law – the Department of International Law and introduced the children to its teaching staff.
Then the guests met with the management of the faculty, Dean Smatlaev B.M. He presented Abdurahim N., one of the students, with a book written with his own hand, shared his advice and blessed all the students present at the meeting.
The staff of the Department of International Law thanks the students of Lyceum School No. 53 and other educational institutions for their interest in the specialty "International Law". We also express our special gratitude to the teacher of the subject "History, fundamentals of law and Economics", and to the class teacher of these wonderful children, Aliyev Yerbol Yermukhanovich, for his sincere desire to show his wards the guidelines for further development.
