Undergraduates of the 2nd course of the specialty «6M030200 - International Law» of the Law Faculty of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov in the period from November 15 to November 30, 2018, underwent a research internship at the University of Latvia (Riga, Republic of Latvia).
For the entire internship period the coordinator was Madara Marija Ose, an expert in international relations.
On the first day for the undergraduates, the coordinator has organized the meeting with the professors of the Faculty of Law, a tour of the Faculty of Law, as well as familiarization with the library fund of the university.
Undergraduates attended a course of lectures in the following disciplines: International Public Law, International Human Rights Standards in the Baltic States and European Union Law.
In order to collect information for dissertational work, undergraduates have worked with the resource base (printed and electronic sources) in the National Library of Latvia. The building of the National Library (official name, Gaismas Pils) was opened in 2014 on the left bank of the Daugava.
