The first joint meeting of the research clubs of the ENU and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was held

On April 5, 2022, cooperation between the departments of international law of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (hereinafter - ENU) and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter - APAPRT) has reached a new level. Within the framework of the Decade of Science, the first Joint meeting of the Research Club of the Department of International Law of the ENU "International lawyer's club" and the Research Club of the Department of International Law of the APAPRT "Heirs of the Great Cyrus" was held on the topic: «Actual problems of international public law».

The moderators of the meeting were: from the side of APAPRT - Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of International Law, Saidmukhtorov A.A.; from ENU - Doctor of Philosophy PhD, senior lecturer, acting head of the department of international law, head of the club, Akshalova R.D.

At the joint meeting, 1st year undergraduates, who are studying as part of the joint training of undergraduates under the double diploma program of ENU and APAPRT, spoke. Thus, Mahjuba Saidamadonshoeva made a presentation on the topic: «Issues of international legal personality of international economic organisations», talking about the concept of international economic organizations and their international legal personality.

Djumaeva Manizha made a presentation on the topic: "International legal protection of women's rights in ECHR". As part of her speech, she touched upon the issues of regulating the fight against violence against women in international law and in the European Union, and also considered the case of the ECtHR on domestic violence.

In addition, Rustamova Jahongul told her fellow students about studying at the ENU Master's program, their first experience of studying under the double degree program. 

The speeches aroused keen interest among the undergraduates of APAPRT and asked a large number of speakers. In conclusion, the moderators thanked the speakers and each other for hosting such an event and expressed their hope that such joint meetings would continue to be held.
