On November 1, 2022, the Department of International Law hosted a lecture by Gulnur Askarkyzy Isaeva, an expert in international relations, author of the courses "The Art of Negotiation" and "International Protocol and Diplomatic Etiquette" in three languages, a coach in English for entrepreneurs, employees of international departments and foreign companies.
The lecturer, speaking to students and faculty of the department, talked about the peculiarities of the diplomatic protocol, the introduction of international negotiations depending on the cultural differences of the negotiating partner. So, during her speech, G.A. Isaeva gave an example of preferred approaches in communicating with Japanese, Arabic and English representatives of diplomatic services.
The audience of the lecture showed an increased interest in the topic. They actively participated in the discussion, for which some of them received a small reward from the lecturer in the form of an English phrasebook. At the end of the lecture, G.A. Isaeva was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Sh.V. Tlepina.
