Graduation ceremony at Law Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was held on June 30. Around 160 undergraduates have received bachelor diplomas with specialization in “Jurisprudence” and “International Law” and 25 master students have received diplomas in the fields like “Judiciary and Criminal Justice”, “Forensic Expertise”, “International Law” and “Integration Law”. Law Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University is the flagship of legal education in Kazakhstan, which has a 25-year history of its development and contribution to the statehood of the country. This year, the educational program “Jurisprudence” assessed as top 200 according to the QS world subject ranking. The faculty is led by Doctor of Law, Professor Baurzhan Mamytbekovich Smatlayev, an honorary worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was awarded honorary medals, including the medal "Eren Enbegi Ushin". 12 Doctors of Law, 20 Candidates of Science, 8 PhD Doctors, as well as legal well known scholars teach at the faculty. Our professors and lecturers are members of the working groups on amendments to the Constitution of Kazakhstan, they had scientific and professional trainings at the University of Cambridge, the USA, UN and in many other countries and organizations.
