17 may 2019 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the faculty of law of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian national University there were organized international scientific-practical conference on the theme "LEGAL SYSTEM AND the MODERN STATE: PROBLEMS, TENDENCIES AND prospects of DEVELOPMENT"
The Department of civil, labor and environmental law works in the section "Modern trends in the formation and development of civil rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
The section was attended by foreign scientists and well-known lawyers of Kazakhstan, as well as teachers of the Department, students, undergraduates, doctoral students made oral presentations.
Head of the Department, doctor of law, Professor Nurmagambetov Amanzhol Magzumovich made an oral report on "Some legal problems of dismissal for absenteeism." Professor Nurgalieva Enlik Nurgaliyevna raised topical issues on "Legal protection of vulnerable groups of the population" and caused the special interest of the students and participants.
The honorary guest of the conference was associate Professor at the College of Alberta in Latvia Leitão Aya Semonovna on the topic of "Labor law of Kazakhstan and Latvia".
During the event, a number of public figures and staff who have contributed to the development of the faculty of law, were awarded commemorative medals
