At the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, much attention is paid to the prevention of crimes related to the prevention and fight against terrorist crimes. For example, on February 17, 2022, curator Baymoldina S.M. held a curatorial hour on the topic "Current problems of combating religious extremism and terrorism in Kazakhstan" in the curatorial group 3rd year, studying in the Kazakh language with the participation of specialists. At this curatorial hour, topical issues of combating religious extremism and terrorism in Kazakhstan were discussed. Discussing the problems of combating extremism and terrorism, modern legal norms and historical aspects of this social phenomenon were highlighted. It was noted that currently there are various religious movements that negatively affect the consciousness of people and young people, create social tension, lead to terrorist acts, human rights violations. In this regard, it is necessary to show moral stability in relation to such negative manifestations as religious extremism and terrorism.
