On September 14, 2023, at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, a ceremonial presentation of diplomas took place to the first graduates of the double degree program in the educational program «7M04202 - International Law» with the NJSC «L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University»
The presentation took place as part of the official visit of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the Chairman of the Board - Rector of ENU Erlan Battashevich Sydykov to the II Forum of Rectors of Universities of Central Asian Countries in Dushanbe. The diplomas were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Board - Rector of ENU E.B. Sydykov, Rector of APAPRT Gafurzoda Abduhalil Davlatali.
Since 2021, the implementation of the double degree program with APAPRT has begun under the leadership of the head of the Department of International Law of ENU, Doctor of Law, Professor, Sholpan Valerievna Tlepina and the Head of the Department of International Law of APAPRT, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Saidmukhtorov Alisherzhon Abdukhalikovich. For the 2021–2022 academic year, 8 master’s students arrived in Astana to study under the double degree program from ASURT in the first year. However, only 7 master's students received their ENU diplomas. The coordinators of the project on the part of ENU were PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of International Law of ENU R.D. Akshalova, on the part of APAPRT - head of the department of international law at APAPRT, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, Saidmukhtorov A.A.
The scientific supervisors of master's theses on the part of ENU were Doctor of Philosophy PhD, senior lecturer, Akshalova Roza Dzharasovna and Doctor of Philosophy PhD, acting. Associate Professor Kala Nagima Sunkarbekovna.
We would like to remind you that on June 26, 2023, a joint defense of final master's theses of master's students took place, where the master's students showed a high level of preparation of their final works and mastery of the material on the topic of the dissertation, and excellent command of the English language.
At the moment, the implementation of the double degree program in the educational program “7M04202 – International Law” continues. In 2022, 6 more master’s students were trained. In 2023, we are waiting for the admission and arrival of new applicants in October 2023 for the 2023-2025 years of study.
