The resolution of international disputes in the field of space activities were covered within the framework of the X International Scientific and Practical School

From April 3 to April 10, 2023, the Department of International Law holds the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical School on International Law "Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the specialized Department of International Law of ENU. In 2023, the main topic of the X International Scientific and Practical School is "Alternative ways to resolve international disputes."

On April 6, 2023, PhD in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law of the Patrice Lumumba Russian University of Peoples' Friendship (Moscow, Russia), a member of the International Institute for Space Law, Irina Alekseevna Chernykh spoke.

In his report on the topic "Peaceful resolution of international disputes in the field of space activities" Chernykh I.A. highlighted the challenges in the field of space activities, the mechanism for resolving space disputes in accordance with specialized international treaties in the field of peaceful exploration of outer space. The lecturer dwelled in detail on such alternative means of dispute resolution as arbitration within the framework of the Permanent Court of Arbitration and Arbitration for Space Disputes in the UAE, as well as dispute resolution within specialized international organizations.
