As part of the activities of the annual plan of educational work, the curator of the YUR 12 group, K.S. Abdilov, conducted the game "Intellectual Marathon" among 1st-year students (YUR-12 group) of the Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilev ENU.
The game was based on the knowledge gained in the framework of studying the Theory of State and Law, Constitutional Law, Roman Law. The aim of the competition was to show the importance of studying these subjects, which are a common theoretical and methodological basis for all legal disciplines included in the basic educational program of jurisprudence. The game was played as follows: the group was divided into two teams, each of which chose a category of questions, and then a question. The questions were rated at 50,100,200,300 and 400 points. If the team could not answer the question, then the opposing team had the right to answer this question and win points. The questions were focused on the knowledge of the conceptual apparatus, the ability to analyze significant problems and processes.
The students showed a fairly high level of knowledge, the ability to work in a team. The students received a good charge of energy and positive emotions from the game.
