On June 4, 2020, the online state examination for the 2nd year master students majoring in International Law was held through the use of distance technologies such as the online conference on Microsoft Office Teams. This event was held within the framework of cooperation between ENU and RUDN under the double diploma program of the CIS Network University project (CIS NU). Several partner universities were connected to the online state exam at the same time as part of the CIS NU project: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Tajik National University and others.
Two graduate students of the ENU International Law Department - Sabina Bukharbayeva and Aygerim Yermekova passed the State Exam through the TEIS RUDN system - Telecommunication Educational and Information System, which took the form of a test, which included 31 questions, where 30 questions were of “closed” form and the 31st question is an answer in the form of essay to a specific question.
The State Examination Commission from the RUDN was represented by Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of International Law, member of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Issues A.Kh. Abashidze (Chairman of the Commission), members of the Commission are: Doctor of Law, Professor Meshcheryakova O.M., Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Solntsev A.M., Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Travnikov A.I. The general commission included the representativeы of six universities of the CIS NU. ENU’s commission was represented by the head of the Department of International Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Tlepina Sh.V. and teacher of the Department of International Law Abayeva Kh. A.

At the end of the exam, a closed joint discussion of answers was held by the Commission, after which the results were announced to the undergraduates. According to the results of exam, master students Bukharbayeva S. and Yermekova A. received “great”.
The next stage of the final attestation is online defense of the master's thesis, which scheduled for June 16, 2020.
It should be noted that the cooperation between the departments of international law of L.N. Gumilev ENU and RUDN in the framework of the double diploma project of the CIS Network University has been conducted since 2009, and is strengthened every year.
