Professors of the Department of International Law took part in the work of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 20, 2022, a regular meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The meeting was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.A. Mami, with the participation of all members of the CCRC.

The meeting was attended by members of the Scientific Advisory Council, prominent scientists of the country, including the Head of the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Doctor of Law, Professor Sh.V. Tlepina and Professor of the Department of International Law, Doctor of Law E.M. Abaydeldinov.

Several issues were considered on the agenda of the meeting. On the first issue "Constitutional foundations of interaction between the Basic Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international law (on the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's accession to the UN and the 10th anniversary of joining the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe)", the keynote speaker was Doctor of Law, Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov.

Speakers on this issue were also: Adviser to the Director of the RSE at the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kulzhabayeva Zhanat Orynbekovna; President of Narkhoz University, PhD Daulenov Miras Mukhtarovich.

The report "On the draft of the annual message of the Constitutional Council on the state of constitutional legality in the country" was made by a member of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the working group Daulbayev Askhat Kayzullayevich.

Other issues were also considered during the meeting.

All reports were listened to with great interest and comprehensively discussed.

In conclusion, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.A. Mami noted the high degree of relevance of the issues considered and the high level of the reports discussed during the constitutional reform, stressed the significant scientific contribution of the members of the NCC to the process of the Constitutional Council, expressed gratitude to all those present for their active participation in the meeting.
