Taking part in XV European-Asian Legal Congress

Representatives of L.N. Gumilyov  Eurasian National University took part in the anniversary XV European-Asian Legal Congress, which was held on June 9-10, 2022 in Yekaterinburg (RF).  More than seven hundred participants from 7 countries took part in the work of the Congress.

The Congress was devoted to the issues of internationalization of legal science and education, Eurasian labor law and social security law, internationalization of approaches to ensuring full and productive employment, and protection from social risks in the European-Asian legal space.

It should be reminded that the European-Asian Legal Congress was created as a special discussion platform where representatives of the state, business, public circles can actualize tasks for professional lawyers, the solution of which should help increase the efficiency of European-Asian cooperation.

Professional lawyers - scientists and practitioners - from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as politicians, representatives of public authorities and business are invited to participate in the work of the Congress.

At the invitation of V.A.  Bublik, principal of V.F.  Yakovlev Ural State Law University from L.N. Gumilyov  Eurasian National University, take part representatives of the Department of Labor, Civil and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law Doctor of Law, Professor E. N. Nurgaliyeva and PhD doctoral student K. B. Olzhabaeva.

Doctor of Law, Professor Nurgaliyeva E.N.  made a presentation on the problematic issues of legal regulation of the labor of medical and pharmaceutical workers in Kazakhstan, including a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of Eurasian Economic Union countries.

Of particular debatable interest among the participants were the problems (collisions and gaps) of the legislation regulating the labor and legal status of medical and pharmaceutical workers, their work in the context of digitalization of medical services, the provision of remote medical services, as well as the legal regulation of the labor of medical workers in the field of primary medical and social care. 

Participation of representatives of the L.N. Gumilyov  ENU in this event was held as part of the research work on the grant scientific project "Development of a legal mechanism for regulating the work of medical and pharmaceutical workers", funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
