From April 3 to April 10, 2023, the Department of International Law holds the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical School on International Law "Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the specialized Department of International Law of ENU. In 2023, the main topic of the X International Scientific and Practical School is "Alternative ways to resolve international disputes."
On April 10, 2023, a practicing lawyer, a member of the Akmola Regional Collegium, a graduate of the bachelor's and master's programs of the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Yeshengeldieva Elnura Molbolovna.
In her guest lecture on the topic "Mediation as an alternative way to resolve disputes" Yeshengeldieva E.M. spoke about the institution of mediation, its scope, goals and principles of mediation, the main advantages, the main requirements for mediators. Separately, the lecturer dwelled on the terms and procedure for mediation.
Presentation by Yeshengeldiyeva E.M. aroused keen interest on the part of the listeners and grew into a lively discussion. At the end of the lecture Akshalova R.D. expressed her gratitude to the lecturer for a very interesting and informative lecture, and also wished her good health and professional success.
