On December 3, 2022, the International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to Human Rights Day and International Anti-Corruption Day “International legal regulation of migration and international cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organizations” was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of International Law Tlepina Sholpan Valerievna and Doctor of Law, Professor, Professor of the Department of International Law, Sarsembaev Marat Aldangorovich spoke at the plenary session of the conference from ENU.
Professor Tlepina Sh.V. made a presentation on the topic: "The experience of preparing national reports of the Central Asian states in the field of civil and political human rights (on the example of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan)".
Professor Sarsembaev M.A. in his report on the topic: "The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international legal acts: their role in the protection of the rights of labor migrants" drew attention to the international legal mechanism for protecting the rights of migrants.
As part of the work of the section "Human Rights", the senior lecturer of the Department of International Law, PhD, Akshalova Roza Dzharasovna, the 1st year doctoral student of the educational program "8D04202 - International Law" Yergalimova Akbope, and the master's student of the educational program of the Department of International Law, Imangaliyev Akyl spoke.
Akshalova R.D. in report on the topic “The status of “climate” refugees in international law”, focused on the problem of protecting the rights of climate refugees, the role of international organizations in determining their status.
