On September 2, 2022, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU E.M. Abaydeldinov turned 63 years old. This is a landmark milestone in life, which Professor Abaudeldinov approached with impressive results. 46 years of general experience, including work at a factory, service in the army, public service – in the country's Parliament, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 38 years of research and pedagogical experience, most of which fall on the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and L.N. Gumilev ENU. Head of a number of fundamental scientific research, member of the reactionary councils of several well-known scientific journals. More than 200 scientific papers, including dozens of monographs and textbooks on international and integration law, among which stands out the country's first Kazakh–Russian two-volume textbook of international law (1120 pages), the authors of which were 26 prominent international scholars of the CIS. The editors-in-chief of this large-scale and popular textbook were Doctor of Law, Head of the Department of International Law of the RUDN, member of the UN Committee, Professor A.H. Abashidze and Doctor of Law, Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov. The textbook was translated into Kazakh and recognized as one of the best works of university scientists.
Along with fruitful scientific and teaching activities at ENU, Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov conducts extensive analytical, expert work as part of various commissions of state bodies, as well as at the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On September 2, 2022, by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for his significant contribution to the development of the Institute and scientific support of legislative activity, conducting expert examinations of draft international treaties. In a solemn atmosphere, the director of the Institute, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Ph.D. Sarpekov R.K. presented Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov with a congratulatory address from the Institute staff and a certificate of Honorary Professor. Previously, the title of Honorary Professor of the institute was awarded to such prominent scientists as M.K.Suleimenov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan; O.Sh. Zhalairi, Doctor of Law, Professor S.M. Rakhmetov; Doctor of Law, Professor, ex-deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.F. Bychkova.
On behalf of the faculty of the department, we express our sincere gratitude to Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov for his conscientious long-term work, the creation of a specialized department of international law at ENU, the formation of its authority among international scholars throughout the CIS, the training of thousands of young specialists.
We wish Professor E.M. Abaydeldinov good health, long years of fruitful scientific and teaching activity following the example of his teachers - academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.T. Baymakhanov, S.S. Sartaev and other legendary scientists.
