The first-year students visited the Museum of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On October 7, 2022, 1st-year students of the Department of International Law, together with the curator Yelegen A.E., and the teacher of the Department Karazhan B.S. visited the Museum of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representatives of the museum said that the idea of creating a museum belongs to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who previously twice held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs. In order to implement it, over the years of the activity of the diplomatic service of independent Kazakhstan, materials have accumulated that reveal the history of the formation and development of the foreign ministry.

The earliest exhibit of the Museum of the History of Kazakh Diplomacy, which opened two years ago in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dates back to the XVIII century.

The main part of the expositions presented in the museum reveals the most significant events of the 20-year period of independent foreign policy, the phenomenon of the personality of the First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the nation Nursultan Nazarbayev, his contribution to the formation of domestic diplomacy.

The storefronts of this repository are protected by exhibits that are not quite familiar to museum specialists. The main part of the "treasures" are documents, including official messages from foreign countries, agreements on the definition of state borders, memoranda, diplomatic correspondence, letters and official notes.

Students were familiarized with all the exhibits of the museum, at the end of the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented commemorative books to students.
