October 13, 2022 in the auditorium 334 of the main building of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU in group B049-4202-19-02 the educational program "6B04202 - International Law" of the Faculty of Law hosted an open lecture by PhD doctor, acting Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Iskakova Zh.T. on the discipline International arbitration on the topic: "The arbitration agreement as the basis of the competence of the arbitration agreement". Teachers of the departments of the Faculty of Law, heads of departments, as well as members of the educational and methodological council and employees of the educational and methodological department were invited to the lesson.
The purpose of the lesson is to explain the essence of the arbitration agreement, which is the basis for the competence of international commercial arbitration in foreign economic transactions in the event of a dispute.
Special attention was paid to the main issue of the preparation of the arbitration (arbitration) agreement, the basic principles of the arbitration agreement "competence-competence" and "autonomy of the arbitration agreement", the invalidity of the arbitration agreement.
