The third volume of the joint monograph of scientists of the Departments of International Law of ENU and RUDN has been published

The final volume of the three-volume collective monograph "Interaction of the UN human rights treaty bodies with the EAEU and OECD countries"has been published. In 2018 and 2019, the first and second volumes of the monograph were published:

The three-volume collective monograph was prepared by a group of scientists from Kazakhstan and Russia within the framework of a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for conducting fundamental scientific research under the project "Analysis of the interaction of the UN treaty bodies with the OECD and EAEU countries in order to adapt the world experience in Kazakhstan in fulfilling international legal obligations and preserving national specifics in the process of modernizing legislation".

Project leaders: from the Republic of Kazakhstan – Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Law of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU E.M. Abaydeldinov (Nur-Sultan); from the Russian Federation – Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of International Law of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) A. Kh.Abashidze (Moscow), a long – time member and head of a number of human rights bodies of the United Nations, currently a member of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the United Nations.

The authors of the sections of the three volumes were made by the teaching staff of the departments of international law of ENU and PFUR: D. Yu.N., Professor S. V. Tlepina; D. Yu.N., Professor M. A. Sarsembayev; PhD, acting associate Professor M. Zh. Melikaeva; K. Yu.n. Koneva A. E.; doctoral students of J. Zukai and Yu. S. Kostyanaya.

The monograph examines a number of topical issues on the topic of the study, sections are presented in Kazakh, Russian and English, a number of conclusions and proposals are made that are of interest to science and practice not only in Russia and Kazakhstan, but also for other countries participating in international human rights treaties.

All three volumes of the monograph were sent to the libraries of L. N. Gumilyov ENU, RUDN, Al-Farabi KazNU, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty), the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan).
