Baltabayev, E.A. Ongarbayev, who made a significant contribution to the improvement of criminal legislation; A.N. Akhpanov, doctor of law, professor, who is the author of accepted novels of criminal procedure legislation; M.A. Ayubayev, doctor of law, a practical worker participated in the development of criminal enforcement legislation; B.M. Smatlaev, doctor of law, professor, veteran of the prosecutor's office, dean of the faculty of law; S.B. Akylbay, candidate of law, member of the Supreme judicial council of the Republic of Kazakhstan; B.R. Sembekova, candidate of law, professor, whose theoretical research is related to the improvement of criminal policy in the system of combating crime.  

Under the leadership of the head of the Department of criminal law disciplines Sembekova B.R. in the period from 2018 to 2020, a scientific project funded by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Terrorism as a threat to national security: improving criminal policy in the field of counteraction of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was successfully implemented, where undergraduates and doctoral students of the department took an active part.
