As part of the decade of science, on April 05, 2021, a scientific seminar was held on the topic "Countering traffic violations or the operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles in the Republic of Kazakhstan". This scientific seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the department of criminal law disciplines. The presentation was made by the senior lecturer of the department Daurembekov E. K., during which he touched upon topical issues related to criminal law qualifications. This topic aroused great scientific interest and discussion among the teaching staff. The scientific seminar was held at a high scientific and theoretical level, where proposals were made to improve the national criminal legislation.
