On March 19, 2022, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer, Ph.D., Baimoldina S.M. held a scientific seminar among undergraduates studying in the OP 7M04204 "Judicial Power and Criminal Justice" on the topic: "New Messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokaev" New Kazakhstan: a way of renewal and modernization. "

In his address, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev points out "confidence that the country's steady progress and large-scale socio-economic transformations are impossible without political modernization. In two and a half years, we have achieved serious results in this direction. Within the framework of the four political reform packages, a number of important initiatives aimed at further democratization of the country have been implemented. The scale of positive changes can be judged by the fact that more than ten laws were adopted in the political sphere alone. In general, the proposed reforms reflect the wide range of views that exist in our society. They act as a logical continuation of the transformations already begun and solve two pressing problems. First, promote consistent democratization, and second, ensure the sustainability and governance of the State. This is especially important against the backdrop of fundamental social shifts taking place within the country, as well as growing geopolitical tensions.

Undergraduates expressed confidence that the proposed reforms would have a positive impact on the country's economy.
