Scientific and methodological seminar of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines

On 28.02.2022, a scientific and methodological seminar was held at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law on the results of the preparation of master's theses of Educational programs "Judicial power and Criminal Justice", "Forensic examination".
At the scientific and methodological seminar, undergraduates of the educational program "Judicial power and criminal Justice" -Absadyk A.Zh. made a report "Issues of compensation for harm to minor victims of crimes related to sexual violence" under the leadership of Doctor of Law, Professor Baltabaev K.Zh., Zamanbekov Sh.T. with a report "Corruption in the quasi-public sector: criminal law and criminological aspects" under the leadership of Doctor of Law, Professor Ongarbaev E.A.  
In addition, undergraduates of the educational program "Forensic examination" - Tsoi E.I. made a report "Analysis of domestic violence in aspects of forensic medical examination. The role of the media in the representation of domestic violence" under the leadership of Ph.D., Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Sembekova B.R., Bukaev A.A. with a report "Genomic registration in criminalistics" under the leadership of Ph.D., Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Sembekova B.R.       
Undergraduates revealed the key positions of their scientific research, identified the relevance, novelty, and practical significance of their dissertations. The reports of undergraduates aroused the interest of the present teaching staff, undergraduates, this is evidenced by the statement of a large number of questions to the speakers, the nomination of recommendations on improving the substantive basis of dissertation research.   
The scientific and methodological seminar was held at a high scientific and methodological level, undergraduates received an information base on the methodological support of the procedures for defending master's theses; identified the issues of using information technology to effectively support the defense of dissertation research, the processes of passing through the "Anti-Plagiarism" system, noting academic integrity, which deserves attention.   
The undergraduates who made presentations expressed their gratitude to the teaching staff and the undergraduates who took part in the seminar for their active participation in the discussion of their reports, as they received a lot of useful information for further work on improving their dissertations.
