On April 26, 2023, a round table in a hybrid format was held on the basis of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the participation of representatives of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other state bodies to clarify the provisions of certain legislative acts concerning human rights in criminal proceedings, execution of punishment, as well as the prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading the dignity of the types of treatment.
The round table was attended by students and lecturers of the Faculty of Law. The meeting was moderated by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for work with students Karazan B.S. The round table was opened by a welcoming speech via video connection by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Suntaev K.I. The main speakers of the meeting were Deputy Chairman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General of Justice, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Ayubaev M.A., Head of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RK, Police Major General, Candidate of Law, S.A. Adilov. and Senior Prosecutor, Justice Adviser Taikeshev E.A.
At the end of the event, a memorable photographing took place. Such meetings are useful not only for the younger generation and students of our university, but also for teachers and specialists in the field of law.
