On March 11, 2022, an international round table was held at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines: "Criminal policy in the field of ensuring the protection and protection of individual rights". The round table was attended by a graduate student of Kazan Federal University (Russia, Kazan) Nagornov K.I., undergraduates of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilev ENU Department of Criminal Law Disciplines in the educational programs 7M04209 "Forensic Examination" and 7M047204 "Judicial Power and Criminal Justice" of the scientific and pedagogical direction.
The following reports were presented by undergraduates: "Criminological aspects of countering illegal banking activities" (Aralbayev Zhanibek, undergraduate student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office);
"Three-tier model of the criminal process" (Ruslan Kazmukhanbetov, Master's student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office);
"Problems of punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty in legislation and penitentiary practice" (Uzakbayev Yerlan, graduate student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office);
"Some legal aspects of countering non-statutory relations between conscripts" (Ibragimov Fariz, graduate student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office);
"Criminal law and procedural issues in the consideration of criminal offenses related to violation of traffic regulations or operation of vehicles, as well as driving vehicles and being in a state of alcoholic, narcotic and (or) toxicological intoxication" (Sakenov Sagidolla, Master's student of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of L.N. Gumilev ENU);
"On the correlation of prosecutorial supervision and departmental procedural control in pre-trial proceedings" (Kasymov Aibek, Master's student of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of L.N. Gumilev ENU);
"Social adaptation of persons who have served a criminal sentence in the form of imprisonment: penal and criminological aspects" (Almira Mukataeva, Master's student of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of L.N. Gumilyov ENU);
"Criminal-legal aspects of compensation for harm to victims" (Absadyk Assel, Master's student of the Department of Criminal-Legal Disciplines of L.N. Gumilev ENU)
"Compulsory measures of educational influence: the results of the development of the Russian criminal law policy" (Kirill Nagornov, Master's student of Kazan Federal University. RF).
The round table discussed topical issues of criminal, criminal procedure, penal enforcement law in a comparative analysis of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, the key positions were disclosed not only from the standpoint of theoretical research, but the issues of implementing the norms of legislation in law enforcement were shown.
The implementation of law enforcement practice was discussed by practitioners and employers of the educational programs "Judicial power and criminal Justice" and "Forensic examination, who also showed activity in discussing the dominant areas of improving the criminal policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The work of the round table was held at a high scientific level, in the form of discussions and discussions, which aroused the interest of all those present.
