Forensic science, being an instrument of scientific knowledge used to attract the achievements of science and technology in legal proceedings, requires constant improvement along with the reform of the judicial and law enforcement agencies, and forensic experts should be aware of all available modern scientific methods and research tools, taking into account the capabilities of modern information technology.

At the Faculty of Law of the Eurasian National University. L.N. Since September 2020, Gumilev has opened a demanded master's degree program, the Forensic Expertise program, which provides a unified approach to the general professional disciplines being studied and differentiated specialization depending on the types of forensic examinations.

According to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Volgograd State Agrarian University" and ENU named after L.N. Gumileva, January 29, 2019, an online round table discussion was held entitled “Actual problems of the convergence of social and legal research in the context of modern scientific knowledge”.
