International Round Table "Actual Issues of Theory and Practice of Forensic Science"

March 15, 2022 at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilyov, together with the Department of Forensic Activities of the Law Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Russian Federation, Moscow), an International Round Table was held on topical issues of the theory and practice of forensic examination.
The moderator of the round table was Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Ph.D. Sembekova B.R., who showed the relevance and relevance of this area in the cognitive activity of the subjects of proof, in connection with which the training of qualified, competitive personnel in the field of forensic examination is a priority area of professional forensic activities aimed at solving cognitive legal problems.  
For training in the field of production and appointment of forensic examinations, at the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law of the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov, the educational program "Forensic Examination" was developed and implemented.    
The round table was attended by G.G. Omelyanyuk, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Forensic Activities of the RUDN University Law Institute, who highlighted the issues of the organizational and legal nature of the forensic activities of the Russian Federation, focused on the formation and development of the activities of private experts , the regulation of which begins with the registration in the state register of private experts, which helps to determine the qualifications necessary to obtain reliable, complete and objective information from an expert, a specialist in a particular field of knowledge in the process of proving.
 The reports of the graduate student of the forensic activities of the RUDN University Law Institute Sirakanyan A.R. "The use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes in the field of security and safety" and undergraduate Seregina E.V. "Comprehensive judicial construction, technical and land management expertise". The reports covered topical issues of the production and assignment of examinations, highlighting the methodology for conducting examinations, the subject and grounds for appointing and conducting forensic examinations, and touched upon issues of problematic aspects of forensic activities.
Undergraduates of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines under the educational program "Forensic Examination" actively participated in the work of the Round Table, under the guidance of Ph.D., Professor Sembekova B.R. prepared the following reports:

Zhumanbaeva B.A. "Comprehensive forensic examination";
Aubakirov Zh.E. “On the issue of the role of forensic medical examination”;
Tsoi E.I. "Forensic Medical Examination of Living Persons in the Investigation of Domestic Violence".
In the reports of undergraduates, a comparative analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan was carried out, the problems of law enforcement were shown, and theoretical studies of master's works aimed at solving practical problems were highlighted.
During the discussions and discussions, the teaching staff of the Department of Forensic Activities of the Law Institute and the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilyov.
The round table was held at a high scientific level and aroused interest among those present.
