International Professional Excellence Competition "Best Forensic and Forensic Experts" KrimEx-2022"

April 1, 2022 students and undergraduates of the Law Faculty of ENU named after L. N. Gumileva took part in the International Competition of Professional Excellence "Best Experts in Forensic Science and Forensic Expertise" KrimEx -2022 "among students and undergraduates of Universities of Kazakhstan, countries near and far abroad, organized by the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology of the Law Faculty of KazNU named after Al-Farabi together with the" Center for Research on Crime Prevention. "

To participate in the International Competition of Professional Excellence "Best Experts in Forensic Science and Forensic Expertise" KrimEx-2022, "the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Law presented 2 teams: 

a team of students "Kultegin" under the leadership of the head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Ph.D., Professor Sembekova B.R. and the senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Drokin Yu.N., the Kultegin team included students of the educational programs "Jurisprudence" and "Forensic and investigative and forensic activities": Akylin Serikbaev D.A., Kuzbayeva K.Z., Alien N.V.;

team "NFS TEAM" (head, Ph.D., Professor Sembekova B.R.), where undergraduates of the 2nd year of the Judicial Examination educational program took part: Zhumanbaeva B. A. (team captain), Aubakirov J.E., Seidakhmetova A.T., Dosmukhambetova A.B, Budakhmetova  

The competitive stage of students was determined by the following directions:

stage 1 - greeting, stage 2 - knowledge of the branches of forensic technology (solution of test tasks); Stage 3 - showing the level of proficiency in practical skills for working with material traces (detection, fixation, removal of trasological traces); Stage 4 - demonstration of knowledge of procedural requirements and tactics of conducting basic investigative actions (solving problems); Stage 5 - showing the level of proficiency in the appointment of forensic expertise (drawing up decisions on the appointment of expertise on proposed fabrics).

For undergraduates, the competition was held to determine the propensity for abstract logical thinking and concrete practical actions (solving situational problems, analyzing the protocol of investigative action)

The competition was attended by 11 universities of Kazakhstan, in particular, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office, the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan named after Barimbek Beisenova, Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan named after Makan Esbulatov, KazNU named after Al-Farabi and other universities of the mountains. Almaty.

The jury included practical workers of the mountains. Almaty and scientists.

The international competition was held at a high level, there was a spirit of rivalry based on objectivity, adversarial and respect for each other.

The results of the International Competition were crowned with success for our teams: the Kultegin team among students took the prize 3rd place; and the NFS TEAM among undergraduates won 3rd place.
